Quantum Break Steam Release System Requirements
Remedy’s video game/TV series hybrid Quantum Break already released for the Windows 10 store as we all know. And now it is time for a Steam release, which -unlike the Windows 10 version- will support DX 11 only. Windows 10 version will remain DX 12 only, it will not get a patch, the sources state.
Here are the system requirements (not for the faint of heart):
Minimum:
- OS: Windows 7 – 64 bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 68 GB available space
Recommended:
- OS: Windows 10 – 64 bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5 4690, 3.9GHz or AMD equivalent
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 390
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 68 GB available space
Mmm, yes. By the way, the game will not support SLI or Crossfire. But the developers state that a GTX 1080 will be “enough for an enjoyable experience”. Anyone got a spare one?
