GOG Connect: Merging Your Steam and GOG.com Libraries

GOG.com is a neat site. By saying neat, I meant all the definitions of the word; including simple, pleasing, orderly, clearly effective and awesome (slang). This old-school-gamer-joy being of CD Projekt RED, makes us smile with its non-DRM policies, low prices and wallpaper collections in game setups and now, connecting our Steam accounts with GOG.com libraries.

This is not an all-in-one merging of course, only the games that are eligible can be added from Steam to GOG.com. For now, GOG.com state that they have partners such as “Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow’s Number None, TaleWorlds and more“, so we can add more than 20 previously-purchased-on-Steam-games to our GOG.com libraries. Here are some of them:

  • The Witness
  • FTL: Faster Than Light
  • The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
  • Galactic Civilizations 3
  • Trine Enchanted Edition
  • Saints Row 2
  • Shadowrun Returns
  • The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

Full list is here, if you want to check it out: Click my orange skin, tiger.

And before you go, CD Projekt RED has something to say:

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.

Mmm, discounts you say. Here you go. (You know that you can click on these orange words, right?)
