Class-Action Lawsuit Against CD Projekt Red

Cyberpunk 2077

A class-action lawsuit against Cyberpunk 2077 was filed by Rosen Law Firm, claiming violation of federal securities laws.

Officially announced, the lawsuit is based on behalf of people who bought securities of CD Projekt S.A. between January 16 – December 17, 2020, which aims to “recover damages for CD Projekt investors under the federal securities laws.”

In the lawsuit, it’s said that CD Projekt “made false and/or misleading statements” and/or failed to prove wrong the claim “Cyberpunk 2077 was virtually unplayable on the current-generation Xbox or PlayStation systems due to an enormous number of bugs.”

Cyberpunk 2077 was removed from PlayStation Store recently, and any user who purchased the game can refund it if they wish to. Even excluding those mass amounts of refunds, the game sold more than 13 million copies.
