Lust for Darkness is a psychological horror adventure game in which you will encounter many disturbing and sexy moments. You play as a guy named Jonathan Moon and you will try to find an explanation to the mysterious letter sent by your missing wife The story might seem kind of simple. However, this game also introduces something interesting: sexual gameplay.
The protagonist receives the letter and it guides him to a mansion where a passage to another dimension, Lust’ghaa is located. In this dimension, people became the actual definition of non-stop sexual intercourse. And this situation transforms the environment and that things get pretty ugly. I’m sure the Steam page would explain the game much better than my incomprehensible narrative. You can also find ‘NSFW-ish’ cinematic trailer below:
“Move in both a Victorian mansion and Lusst’ghaa – an alien dimension filled with otherworldly creatures. Lusst’ghaa used to be similar to our earth until the local beings decided to undergo total degeneration at their own wish. Through experiments they transformed their bodies so that they could never cease to experience carnal delights. Hundreds of years have passed since that metamorphosis and Lusst’ghaa is now a land overgrown with alien vegetation and full of monstrosities squirming in a never ending ecstasy.
- Erotic and occult themes
- World design inspired with works of Lovecraft, Giger & Zdzisław Beksiński
- Exploring a Victorian mansion and the world of Lusst’ghaa
- Using portals to traverse between two alternative realities
- Searching for hidden items to unlock side stories find out more about the game’s backstory
- Escaping the creatures of Lusst’ghaa
- Original soundtrack by a known composer (Draco Nared)”
The erotic part aside, the gameplay itself and the idea behind the game actually sounds pretty interesting. As one of the biggest pleasure and the biggest ‘sin’ for some, sexuality will probably be questioned. Or won’t, I don’t know. But if this game can show the ‘ugly’ part of the humanity through an inter-dimensional story, I’ll most probably play it. Also, Lovecraftian design is something to be excited for sure. Honestly, as a past literature student, I would love to see a narrative based adventure game like this.
The game will be released on June 12th for PC on Steam. If you are interested, you can check out the official website.
Stay tuned for more fellas!
