âIls ne passeront pas.â
A new trailer came for Battlefield 1âs newest DLC. And strangely enough, people are not talking about the DLC itself, but about the number of African people in the game. They call it (sorry to mention) âblackwashingâ; because according to some internet historians, there are too many African people in Battlefield 1 and the first World War was only fought by European people.
Well, for these racist f*cks, let us give a brief history lesson about WWI:
- Over a hundred countries were involved in the war. Yes, it was a Europe-centered war, but is spread across the world like a disease in four years. That is why it was called âThe Great Warâ. It was NOT a âEuropean war in which only European people died.â (Participants in World War I)
- British army had British West Indies Regiment, comprised of West Indians. (British West Indies Regiment)
- US army had âHarlem Hellfightersâ, comprised of African-Americans. (369th Infantry Regiment)
- French army had âTirailleurs Senegalaisâ nicknamed âBlack Devilsâ by Germans who fought them. They were also comprised of people from French colonies in Africa. (Senegalese Tirailleurs)
Accordingly, these arguments about there are âtoo many African peopleâ in a French DLC is completely absurd, useless and toxic. Whew.
Anyway, here is the trailer; enjoy it, and please donât look at the comments section for your own mental healthâs sake:
There will be four DLCs for Battlefield 1, and They Shall Not Pass will be the first one. This add-on will feature 4 new maps, new vehicles and weapons, a new game mode called âFrontlinesâ and the chance to play Battle of Verdun as a French soldier.
