All hail Diablo! This patch brings full Diablo I to Diablo III!
Blizzard released a new patch for Diablo III in order to celebrate Diablo’s 20th anniversary. Patch 2.4.3 adds Diablo 1 free event to the game along with support for the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) SDK.
Patch 2.4.3 will improve support for 60Hz+ monitors and add a 64-bit client for 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems. By adding the 64-bit client, gamers will experience faster loading times and improved system performance. 64-bit client uses DirectX 11 and this will bring improved anti-aliasing options, support for normal maps and per pixel lighting.
When it comes to Diablo 1 free event, this is where things get crazy. Blizzard simply created Diablo 1 using Diablo III‘s assets while including all the 16 levels from the original game. This event is only available in January.
