Skyrim Director Says Elder Scrolls 6 will Happen

“They’re worlds that we really love. I would be sad if we stopped.”

Todd Howard, the director of and executive producer at Bethesda, talked to Glixel about their projects, both upcoming and the ones we are still playing.

According to Howard; both Elder Scrolls and Fallout games would make they sad if they stop creating them since they are in the middle of their lives now.

They’re worlds that we really love. I would be sad if we stopped. We want to do other things as well, but those are worlds that are part of who I am.

About Nintendo Switch, Howard seems really excited. He claims that it is the best demo he has ever seen at E3 and he should play it regardless. He also stated that he thinks Switch is a smart move and they will definitely support it.

We’re definitely going to be supporting it. It’s the first time we’ve done something on Nintendo. If you don’t count the old NES stuff. Home Alone. Or Where’s Waldo?

Even though the new Skyrim game is not an active project right now, Howard says that it will definitely become real one day. Since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was a huge success, they need to be careful while trying to meet our expectations.

It’s certainly a game that we’ll be making one day. I could sit here and explain to you exactly what we want it to be.

Even though it is frustrating knowing that it is not coming soon, I believe it is a solid promise made by Todd Howard. For full interview, you can visit here.
