Your New Nightmare Fuel: Dead by Daylight

Your New Nightmare Fuel: Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight is a asymmetrical horror game developed by Behaviour Digital and the publisher is Starbreeze Studios. We can say that most of the horror games are highly anticipated since the moment we heard about them because, we hunger for, oh, the real horror.

Let me say that, when the title is ‘a horror game’ we always have high expectations yet we are the most cruel community when the time comes to judge. When I say community, of course I mean all of us, the gamers. We are the real deal, hard to satisfy, always have something to say. Jumpscare or not, it is the fear we want. Like H.P Lovecraft says: The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.

Dead by Daylight is giving us a chance to live the nightmare with a multiplayer (4vs1) option. One will become the savage Killer, the other four will play as Survivors. Your only purpose is to run, hide, avoid being caught but if you fail, your death will be hell of a scene.

Seems like our Jason like Killer is in no hurry to slay you since he likes to torture. He carries a grappling hook which is the last thing I wish to see while dying. All of this lead us to one conclusion: We will die a miserable death.

If you are the Killer, you will be playing the game in first-person but, if you are one of the Survivors you will be playing the game in third-person view. Survivors can be aware of their surroundings while the Killer always stays focused on his prey. It is indeed an advanced hide & seek game but beware, every time you play the environment will change.

Dead by Daylight will be released on June 14th and pre-order is available on Steam now. A closed beta will be made available on May 29th leading up to the game’s release on June 14th.
