New Nightmare Fuel Outlast 2 Now Has A Release Date & Bundle

Remember how sad it was when we first heard that Outlast 2 was delayed to Q1 2017. Well, guys, it is Q1 2017.

I remember the first time when I laid eyes on Outlast. Our beloved editor Erdil was playing it and I was shitting my pants. I literally checked for it. I have never played it but I watched it from start to finish. It was still an outstanding experience, thanks to Red Barrels.

The first game, Outlast, is a first-person survival horror nightmare in which we control Miles Upshur in an psychiatric hospital named Mount Massive Asylum. This is where we meet the craziest of crazies.

Outlast 2 is coming soon as a sequel to the first game and seems like Red Barrels has mastered the nightmare. We are now a journalist named Blake Langermann and with our beloved wife, we are exploring the death of a pregnant woman. And of course, we end up alone.

Outlast 2 is set in the Sonoran desert at night and environment is a perfect fit since it is an isolated village with creepy corn fields. When it comes to Blake Langermann, he is again unable to fight. But really, what is your problem? When you go into an asylum or a creepy desert, at least take a knife. At least take batteries with you dammit! But of course, Blake can only defend himself like Miles did in the first game. Blake can run, hide, jump, walk (really?) and crouch. He uses a more advanced camcorder compared to the first game. This camcorder provides clearer footage, zoom, and an audio detection system built into each speaker that can be used to detect distant footsteps and other noises.

Since now you know everything, we can skip to the next news. Warner Bros and Red Barrels announced that Outlast Trinity, a physical bundle which contains Outlast, Outlast Whistleblower DLC and Outlast 2 will be available on April 25th. And the same day, Outlast 2 will hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
