New Mafia III Patch Removes 30 FPS Lock

Previously, we have informed you that PC version of Mafia 3 is locked at 30fps along with the PC graphics settings. It was a huge dissappointment since mostly we want it to be 60fps.

Now there is a patch removing the 30fps lock. You can play Mafia III at 30fps and 60fps. Oh wait, there is more. There is an ‘unlimited fps’ option. It is like developers saying: ‘ Oh, you want more fps? TAKE THIS!’

“To select your framerate, just head to the display menu in-game. Just make sure to tailor the framerate settings to the power of your machine. This patch also includes improvements to keyboard remapping, so head to the controls menu to check out the options. Note: this patch resets keyboard mapping to default, so any changes you made to the controls previously will need to be customized after installing the patch.”
