Namco Founder Passed Away

The founder of the legendary video games publisher Namco, Masaya Nakamura has passed away at the age of 91. Namco confirmed that he passed away on January 22nd.

He founded the Nakamura Manifacturing in 1955, which became Nakamura Amusement Machine Manufacturing Company, Namco for short. This company was one of the kickstarting elements of gaming industry as we know it, releasing countless games that had impact on our lives. One of it was, the game of all games, PAC-MAN. Now, our ghost-chasing yellow friend is fatherless.
