Microsoft is Working on a ‘Game Mode’ for Windows 10

Finally!

Microsoft is now working on a Game Mode which will bring improvements to PC gaming experience on Windows 10.

“By minimizing resources used by running apps to almost nothing and allocating freed up resources to the game, making it run faster, better and smoother overall” says Microsoft Central, Microsoft will enhance the PC gaming experience.

This information is leaked by WalkingCat but, it is not working yet. Even though it is not working, it is a thing and will come soon, we hope.

.@h0x0d looks like Windows will adjust its resource allocation logic (for CPU/Gfx etc.) to prioritize the “Game” when running in “Game Mode”

Supposedly, this mode will work similarly to the Xbox One version of running a game. With the Creators Update, we hope now Windows 10 users will play the games as smooth as possible. AND MAYBE WE’LL BE ABLE TO PLAY FALLOUT TITLES? (Fallout 4 doesn’t count as a Fallout game, you know that)
