Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered gets 4 classic maps

Did it get separated from Infinite Warfare yet?

No, unfortunately it did not. So we, Modern Warfare lovers, stuck with the original game that came out on 2007. It got old, yes, but it aged well and does not need us to buy a whole another game. Although, it does not mean that we are not curious about a next-gen MW experience. With the coming of 4 classic maps from the original game, our curiosity got up.

PS4 owners can celebrate the coming of these 4 maps while testing out 10 new “rare” supply drops. What are these rarities, we do not know. As for PC owners, “soon” they’ll have access to these new/old maps such as Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek and Killhouse. If you loved one of these maps, you’ll probably get excited watching the following footage:

Well, we did not get excited. Not only Call of Duty series, but all; when did FPS games got boring and repetitive? I think the World War 2 craziness in early 2000’s was the starting point of this exhaustion. Yes, “exhaustion” is the right word– for we got bored from hearing the same lines, walking the same lines, shooting Middle-Easterners or Russians or North Koreans, using the same guns, etc. Even the futuristic settings of the recent Call of Duty games had the same feeling, in which the bad guys always have a thick accent.

Anyway, go and play DOOM. Drop these repetitive, boring, needlessly heroic, competitive war games and go kick some ass like it is ’98. New maps? F*ck the new maps. Go listen “BFG Division” from Mick Gordon and remember having real fun while playing games. Yes, I was listening to it while writing.

Enjoy! ^^
