According to Take-Two Interactive Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC is still a question

One of the biggest title of Take-Two Interactive, Red Dead Redemption was and still is a highly anticipated game. For a long time, PC owners dreamed about playing this game on their platforms. But so far, neither Take-Two Interactive nor the modders around the world haven’t come up with a solution. There has been a couple of videos showing the first steps of a mod, believing it was possible. However, other than an unplayable, low FPS game and videos, we haven’t seen anything promising. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC it is still a question.

Recently, as if they haven’t tortured us enough, the company said that Red Dead Redemption for PC was still a question. Publisher Take-Two Interactive’s president Karl Slatoff has declared his “love and respects” for PCs. In addition to his sympathy towards PCs and PC users, he wanted us to know that his love for this platform was not enough for a game to be published for it. “Some titles are actually heavily weighted to PC, for example, Civilization and XCOM,” said the president. And he added: “The great news is that the PC market is vibrant for us. It’s a great market for us. It’s a big market. It’s a core market in consumers that are highly engaged.” That means, even if the PC market is huge and very important for them, they still question whether they are willing to take a step towards the PC world when it comes to Red Dead Redemption 2.

“Dream on till your dreams come true”

As for the main question, CEO Strauss Zelnick said: “Any updates about any of our titles will come from our labels.” and passed the ball to the developers.

No matter what they say, we still hope that they will decide to hear our prayers. Red Dead Redemption is a really good game. And we would like to see the second game, along with the first one if possible, on PC one day. But even the fact that GTAV was initially and published for consoles tells us something. And don’t forget that the first game of the title was never published for PC at all.

In any case, until we hear more from the publishers or the developers, keep on dreaming fellas.

And stay tuned for more news!
