The developer team of Jotun, Thunder Lotus Games, has recently revealed that their new title Sundered will be released on 28th of July. The game will be available for PC and PS4 and if you pre-order it now, you get 10% off on Steam and 15% for PS4 pre-order. What is really exciting is that the Thunder Lotus Games has decided to give away their latest title, Jotun, for free on Steam and GOG. To celebrate the release date of Sundered, we will have time to enjoy Jotun: Valhalla Edition. Here is a video to take a loot at the game:

The game was a big success for many Indie adventure-action game lovers. The hand-drawn graphics and animations were a different taste for everybody. And the new title is expected to have the same impact on gamers. But this time, instead of a mythical story, we will have another one about a protagonist fighting against eldritch horrors. Heavily inspired by Lovecraft‘s stories, Sundered will focus on horror and action features. And the devs themselves declared that the choices will have a stronger impact on the game than it did in Jotun. Lovecraft? Choices? You already got my attention mate…

A beautifully difficult experience

Before we can play Sundered though, the devs made it possible to get Jotun for free. To be able to do that, you only have to download it either on GOG or Steam until the end of the weekend. But beware! Because as you can see on the Steam tags, it is pretty challenging. So play it at your own risk.

I think it will be a good opportunity to enjoy Jotun and get a general idea about their new title Sundered. The second title will be hand-drawn too. So if you liked/will like Jotun‘s visuals, you will have the same feeling with Sundered. Comparing both games will not be necessary of course. Mainly because the story and the mechanics will be different. But at least it will be possible for gamers to see the artwork which is pretty important for the devs. Here is the launch date announcement trailer of Sundered which will give you a better idea:

Jotun will be free during the weekend. And you will keep it forever as your own game if you get it before Monday. And until 28th of July when we will be able to lay our eyes on Sundered, we will enjoy Jotun for sure.

So, enjoy the game and the videos. Stay tuned for more news fellas!
