A New Retro First-Person Shooter Ion Maiden is Coming This Year

A group of developers from Duke Nukem 3D dev and mapper team, aka Voidpoint, has recently revealed a couple of screenshots of their new project. Ion Maiden, built with Duke Nukem’s 3D engine, will be a retro first-person shooter with tons of action. And to be honest, for a retro game, images look pretty promising.

It was told that the game was going to have interactive maps with many secrets. Weapons and other features will have different options like different ammo or shooting style. Even if it is built by Duke Nukem’s 3D engine, graphics look, compared to other old games, pretty amazing. Here are a couple of them:

The game is expected to be released at some time in 2017. We do not have however an official date. So we will wait and see what will happen in the future. Though it seems like an old game, we are pretty sure that it will attract many retro lovers’ attention.
