Battlefield 1 ‘Premium Trials’ Offers Access to Expansion Maps for a Limited Time

Remember the time when EA announced that Premium Friends is back? Previously, DICE decided to move to monthly update system in order to bring the changes to the game faster than before. With May update, there came Premium Friends feature.

Premium Friends feature lets Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owners share Premium Pass-exclusive multiplayer maps with their friends. Now, there is another feature called as Premium Trials.

Premium Trials is a way for players who don’t own a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass to play on maps they normally wouldn’t have access to. Unlike Premium Friends, Premium Trials doesn’t require you to join a squad with a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owner – you’ll simply have access to Premium maps by logging into the game.

Premium Trials will let all players access to a limited selection of expansion maps for a limited time, regardless of ownership status. With the release of Prise de Tahure map, the first Premium Trial event will take place. The second one will take place before Gamescom (August 22-26) and the third one is set for September.

Premium Trials will be available for a limited time, yet there is no exact date for Prise de Tahure map. We will be back with more detailed news.

Stay tuned!
