StarCraft: Remastered Official PC System Requirements

On August 14, real-time strategy video game StarCraft and its expansion Brood War‘s getting a remastered version, StarCraft: Remastered.

StarCraft: Remastered will preserve the gameplay mechanics of the original game, but it will add ultra-high-definition graphics, re-recorded audio, and Blizzard’s modern online feature suite to the game. StarCraft: Remastered will bring widescreen UHD support for up to 4K resolution. Also there will be cloud saving for campaign progress, custom maps, replays, keybinds, eight language support and more.

Blizzard went ahead and shared the official PC system requirements for upcoming StarCraft: Remastered. Here, take a look:

Minimum

  • Operating System: Windows® 7 / Windows® 8 / Windows® 10
  • Processor: Intel® Pentium® D or AMD™ Athlon™ 64 X2
  • Video: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 (256 MB) or ATI™ Radeon X1600 Pro (256 MB) or better
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Storage: 2.8 GB HD space
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection
  • Input: Keyboard and mouse
  • Resolution: 1024 x 768 minimum display resolution

Recommended

  • Operating System: Windows® 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4 GHz) or AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (2.6 GHz) or better
  • Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT (512 MB) or ATI Radeon HD 4850 (512 MB) or better
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Storage: 2.8 GB HD space
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection
  • Input: Keyboard and mouse
  • Resolution: 1024 x 768 minimum display resolution
