Online Melee Action Absolver Release Date & Combat Trailer

Upcoming martial arts-focused action role-playing game Absolver has some exciting news.

Absolver is surely an highly anticipated title for the ones who are fond of melee combat. While playing Absolver, we will build custom combinations of strikes, parries, and feints to fight other players in order to prove our worth to become one of the Absolver peacekeepers.

Absolver also has minor massively multiplayer online game elements. We will be able to fight alongside other players on quests and directly fight other players in player versus player match-ups.

The most noteworthy part of a melee game, from my point of view, is if it can reflect the feeling of a strike and it feels like Absolver achieved that perfectly. Just look at this:

Sloclap and Devolver Digital released a new trailer for Absolver showing off combat details. Our character’s fighting moves are customized in a “combat deck” of cards, with each card assigned to a move. We earn cards, equipment, and weapons by progressing through the game. Here, take a look:
