Just like the first game, offline co-op only will be available to console players. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users will be able to play the game on offline split-screen co-op mode, but PC users will not experience this joy.

EA/Origin Access Subscribers Can Play A Week Early

According to Battlefront 2 pre-order website, EA/Origin Access subscribers will be able to play Star Wars: Battlefront 2 starting from November 9. This one week early trial will give you an idea about the game and if you enjoy your journey, your progress will be saved and carried over when you purchase the main game.

Try Star Wars Battlefront II starting November 9 when you join EA Access on Xbox One or Origin Access on PC. Your progress carries over to the full game if you decide to buy.

The Inferno Squad Book

Inferno Squad is an upcoming book by Christie Golden. This book will take place after the events of Rogue One and will be a prequel to the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 game.

The single player campaign tells the story of Iden Versio, an Imperial commander. Versio seeks a way to avenge the Emperor after the destruction of the Death Star. Most of the time, we will be witnessing the story from the eyes of the Emperor, but we will get to play the other characters such as Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren.

Iden Versio is the commander of the mentioned Inferno Squad.

After the humiliating theft of the Death Star plans and the resulting destruction of the battle station, the Empire is on the defensive. In response to this stunning defeat, the Imperial Navy has authorized the formation of an elite team of soldiers, known as Inferno Squad. Their mission: infiltrate and eliminate the remnants of Saw Gerrera’s Partisans. Following the death of their leader, the Partisans have carried on his extremist legacy, determined to thwart the Empire–no matter what the cost. As the danger intensifies and the threat of discovery grows, how far will Inferno Squad go to ensure the safety of the Empire?

The book is scheduled to be released on July 25.

We will be back with more detailed news about Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Stay tuned!
