Action RPG Nioh is Ready to Launch

Nioh, upcoming action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja, is ready to to be sent to retail stores.

According to a tweet shared by Nioh‘s official twitter account, Nioh has succeeded in master up means that the game has gone gold. On February 9, Nioh will be out for PlayStation 4 only.

Nioh takes place in the early 1600s during a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period while Japan was in the middle of civil war. We can say thay Nioh is basically a Souls-inspired title and that is why we have high expectations.

As we are controlling a Western Samuari named William (yes, he looks like Geralt of Rivia), we will fighting both human and supernatural beings called Yokai. We will be selecting our missions from a menu, save our progress and replenish health and raise William’s experience with experience points when we reach the shrines.

Combat is based around hack and slash and William can change between three Stances with most weapons; High, Middle and Low. William can run, dodge and sprint and when the enemy is dead, they can be looted for money and weapons. Oh, and you should see the bosses.

Some say that Nioh is harder than Dark Souls. We will wait and see.
